In preparation for her career in law, Ms. Morales earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science with a minor in Spanish from DePaul University in 2003 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Northern Illinois University in 2005. She was also admitted to practice by the Illinois Bar Association.
Ms. Morales's commitment to excellence in her field is reflected in her active involvement with several industry-related organizations. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Kane County Bar Association, and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association. Since 2023, she has served as the board of director president for Centro de Información, a nonprofit social services agency based in Elgin. She has also been the board chair of the Elgin Housing Authority since 2008 and in 2024 was appointed to the Fox River Water Reclamation District Board of Trustees Previous affiliations include the YWCA, PADS of Elgin, and St. Thomas More PTO.
