Prior to joining Five Star Bank, she was a Senior Vice President and Sales Leader at First Niagara (subsequently KeyBank) from 2006 to 2018, where she honed her skills in sales leadership and commercial lending. Ms. Miller's career also included significant tenures as a relationship manager and commercial lender, portfolio manager, and commercial credit analyst at other institutions, further enriching her professional experience.
Ms. Miller's academic journey has been a testament to her commitment to professional development. Her pursuit of excellence led her to graduate from LeMoyne College with a Master of Business Administration in 2000 and subsequently, take additional courses from LeMoyne College to allow her to complete the required accounting classes for a certified public accountant. Most recently, she completed the Executive Leadership certificate program at Cornell University.
Beyond her education, Ms. Miller remains abreast of industry trends as a member of the American Bankers Association. She is also actively involved in her community through various civic associations. She is a board member for the Onondaga County Civic Development Corporation, the Elmcrest Children's Center, and the New York Business Development Corporation. Moreover, Ms. Miller has been an advisory board member for a local nonprofit organization for over 20 years and actively mentors economically disadvantaged children through a variety of channels.
