In fact, while in high school, she cared for her grandmother and developed a passion for healthcare that has spanned the entirety of her career. After earning an Associate of Science in Health Science (Pre-Nursing) and Associate in General Studies from Georgia Military College, Rose expanded her professional knowledge by completing a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration at Colorado Technical University.
During the early stages of her career, Rose gained valuable expertise in healthcare and healthcare administration with PharMerica Pharmacy in Smyrna, Georgia. Subsequently, she established Rustic Rose Assisted Living, LLC in 2016. As the owner and director of operations, she leverages her considerable industry expertise to provide her residents with reliable and personal care while allowing them to maintain their independence. In addition to offering recreational programs that keep her residents healthy and engaged, Rose and the team at Rustic Rose Assisted Living facility, offer safe and secure transportation services, feeding and household chore assistance, support for daily activities through 24-hour on-call staffing, hospice care, palliative care, end of life care, comfort measures and medications management, intractable pain/discomforts, terminal agitation/restlessness, and making the dying experience of our residents loved one's comfortable and tranquil.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Rose aligns herself with the Colorado Assisted Living Association. In conjunction with her work, she also contributes to her community, and her home country as owner of Rose's Foundation, which is devoted to empowering members of her community, her country, specifically single women and vulnerable children. Given her vast achievements, she has been honored several times, earning a Leadership and Service Award from the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Additionally, Rose was recognized as the Woman of the Month through P.O.W.E.R. (Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized) Magazine, and Press Release in 2022 and 2024. Also, as a local business owner, Rose Johnson was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA), Leadership Council, in October, 2023.
While her career has been filled with highlights, Johnson takes the most pride in providing her residents with top-notch home health care. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she credits her success to her love of what she does, her patience, and her mother and grandmother. Within five to ten years, Rose M Johnson intends to expand Rustic Rose Assisted Living and further her education.
