Earlier in her career, Ms. Sharp was the coordinator of infection prevention and patient safety at Saint Joseph Medical Center from 2005 to 2007 and as an education resource specialist at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System between 2002 and 2005. Her contributions have been recognized in the field, particularly in infection prevention, program management, and people management, and for her ability to evaluate situations for opportunities to decrease infections.
