Before obtaining his role with HAECO, Mr. Scott was the vice president of government services for Cerner Corporation, through which he overhauled the healthcare data systems for the U.S. Coast Guard, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Scott gained valuable expertise in client relationship, program, and contract management in various roles with Boeing. Throughout his decades-long tenure with the company, he has implemented world-class workplace safety and environmental sustainability programs, reduced significant customer contract-related penalties by 50 percent, and liaised with executive leadership to resolve production issues. Dedicated to his country, Mr. Scott served as crew chief and aircraft maintenance specialist in the U.S. Air Force between 1984 and 1988.
An expert in his field, Mr. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in aviation management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, an MBA from Fontbonne University, and a Federal Aviation Administration certificate. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, he aligns himself with the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Likewise, Mr. Scott has contributed to his community through the YMCA of Greater Seattle, Tuskegee University, the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission, and the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, Inc.
