Today, as the Senior Vice President of Sales for the West Coast, she oversees the team on the west coast while collaboratively working with the Hanson Faso Central Senior Vice President and the East Coast Senior Vice President. She is focused on continuing to drive new and emerging brands into Hanson Faso contracts that may start in the west but along with her legacy brands, are expanding into other territories of the country as opportunities arise to capture exposure to said brands. During her tenure at INFB, Ms. Steele was instrumental as the company's owner, brand manager, and key account manager from 2008-2024. In addition to the success and expertise she gained in this capacity, she worked under other brokerage firms from 1998-2008 and in grocery retail from 1994 to 1998.
Ms. Steele's expertise in branding and consulting has been recognized throughout her career. She has achieved a high level of knowledge through her dedication and innovative approach to nurturing brands such as EVOL Foods, Bobo's Oat Bars, Navita's, Buddha Tea, Repurpose, and most recently, AFIA Foods. She continues to drive strong sales for current local clients like Eldorado Springs and long-time partnerships with brands like Wally's Naturals. Her strategy focuses on careful selection and support of brands that promise potential in terms of investment and align with her vision of delivering quality and value to consumers.
In preparation for her career, Ms. Steele earned a bachelor's degree in Music Business from the University of Colorado Denver in 1994. Her contributions extend beyond her professional endeavors into civic associations and creative pursuits. She is a talented, award-winning musician and has been a speaker within the CBD industry at the 2018 NOCO Hemp and CBD Expo. She was included in the auto-biography from Zhena Muzyka, "Life by the Cup," for her strong sales work, as well as in the publication from a former UCD tenured music professor, Dick Weissman, "Creating Melodies, A Songwriter's Guide to Understanding, Writing and Polishing Melodies" in the acknowledgements.
