From 2019 to 2020, Mr. Stover was a reservoir engineer at Four Corners Petroleum LLC, where he focused on optimizing oil extraction processes in large-scale CO2 EOR projects.
Mr. Stover's career has also included significant contributions at Elk Petroleum Inc., where he worked as a reservoir surveillance engineer from 2018 to 2019. During his tenure, he managed to fill a 30-mile oil pipeline without using pumps while adhering to stringent filling rate requirements. This project, which required thorough calculations and ingenuity to achieve controlled loading using only gravity, showcased Mr. Stover's exceptional problem-solving skills. His success in this endeavor stands as one of his most significant accomplishments. During an earlier stage of his profession, Mr. Stover held various roles at Chaparral Energy between 2012 and 2017, progressing from an engineering technologist in the enhanced oil recovery (EOR) group to reservoir engineer III in CO2 and EOR. His work involved developing and implementing advanced techniques and software solutions for carbon dioxide injection and EOR processes. Mr. Stover also found success during his formative years as an engineer at Advanced Processing Technology Inc. from 2006 to 2012.
Mr. Stover's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering, summa cum laude, from the University of Oklahoma, in 2011. His academic achievements have been instrumental in his professional success, providing a solid foundation for his technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Stover is actively involved in Tau Beta Pi and Golden Key International. His commitment to civic engagement is evident through his roles as a Girl Scouts of America troop leader since 2023.
