In 1987 he was promoted to Director of Business Development for Kroger Southern Divisions and Frys Super Markets. His strategic oversight and innovative approaches contributed significantly to its success in these product categories. By, 1996 he had ascended to director of customer business development manager US Wholesale Teams and then vice president for new product acquisitions, specifically overseeing the Iams Dog Food US retail introduction. This role was particularly notable as it marked Procter & Gamble's debut in the pet food industry.
Mr. McGill's academic background includes a bachelor's degree from Baldwin Wallace University and Masters work in Business Administration at the University of Michigan. His thorough preparation and educational achievements have been instrumental in his professional success.
Beyond his professional life, Mr. McGill has been a leader and actively involved in social and civic organizations. At Baldwin Wallace University he was an independent class and fraternity officer, and Captain of his College football team. He also served as President of his local JC's, as a Director on several Boards, and President of several social and neighborhood organizations, and served the United Way.
His contributions to the community reflect his commitment to social responsibility and civic engagement. Additionally, Mr. McGill was recognized for his athletic prowess, having been inducted into the Euclid High School Athletic Hall of Fame and receiving the Most Outstanding Local Football Player Award from the Cleveland Browns touchdown club.
