Dr. Pham's career at Avalyn Pharma began in 2017 when he took on the role of Vice President, Product Development. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in overseeing the development of drugs, products and device components. Prior to joining Avalyn Pharma, Dr. Pham served as a consultant for Sunovion Respiratory Development from 2012 to 2017, where he contributed his expertise to various respiratory projects.
From 2010 to 2012, Dr. Pham held the position of Senior Director, Product Development at Elevation Pharmaceuticals. Previously, he was Associate Director, Formulations at InSite Vision from 2007 to 2010. Dr. Pham's earlier career includes roles such as Principal Scientist at Dey L.P. from 2005 to 2007 and Project Leader at Chrysalis Technologies between 2002 and 2005. He also served as Senior Scientist at Battelle Pharma from 2001 to 2002 and began his professional journey as Scientist at Dura Pharmaceuticals in 1998.

Additionally, Dr. Pham has been a guest speaker at multiple conferences, sharing his knowledge and insights with peers in the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Pham's academic journey laid a strong foundation for his successful career. He earned a PhD in pharmaceutics from the University of Minnesota in 1998, following a Master of Science in theoretical chemistry in 1994 and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 1992 from the same institution. Dr. Pham's educational and occupational achievements were driven by his early independence and sense of responsibility, which he developed after immigrating to the United States as an unaccompanied minor at the age of 12.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Pham enjoys hiking, traveling and photography. Looking ahead, he aims to continue advancing his corporate career with aspirations of reaching C-level positions within the next few years.
