Before venturing onto his vocational path, Mr. King earned an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in 1990 and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Stanford University in 1986.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. King is actively involved in various industry-related organizations. He is a board member of Candelen, a nonprofit organization providing resources and educational programs for children, and he was a leader within the Wharton African-American MBA Association and served as President of the Stanford Society of Black Scientists and Engineers. In the past, he has served on the boards of advisors for Bottles Waiting, a provider of cloud-based software for nightclubs, and "& Minds," a business consulting group.
