She then joined Post Properties as an assistant property manager and property manager from 2008 to 2015. During this period, she was honored with the Property Manager of the Year award by increasing the net operating income of the property she managed by 20% year over year.
In 2015, Ms. Chervenka advanced to area vice president at Post Properties, a position she held until 2016. She then joined Progress Residential as portfolio operations director from 2016 to 2021 before taking on the role of vice president of single-family rentals at Westdale Asset Management from 2021 to 2022. Subsequently, she served as vice president of operations at TBD Management LLC by Wan Bridge before co-founding Five Buffalo Capital, LLC in 2023.
Ms. Chervenka's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government from Oklahoma State University, earned in 2005. Her qualifications are further demonstrated by her numerous certifications, including Motivating and Engaging Employees from LinkedIn, the Florida Community Association Manager and Florida Real Estate Sales Associate certifications from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and a Texas Real Estate Sales Agent License from the Texas Real Estate Commission. While Ms. Chervenka holds her licenses in inactive status, she continues to maintain her continuing education credits related to all licenses.
