Backed by years of construction experience, David is the Director of Alternative Delivery for Superior Construction Company Southeast, LLC based in Jacksonville, FL. Through the fourth-generation family-owned and operated heavy civil contractor, he specializes in complex design-build and alternative delivery infrastructure and transportation projects throughout the Southeast. Previously, Mr. Nardon honed his business and project development expertise with companies such as Kiewit, Walsh Group, Allan Myers, and Skanska, to name a few. With the Walsh Group, Allan Myers, and Skanska he managed their alternative delivery programs.
During his career, Mr. Nardon gained valuable expertise in the construction industry and alternative delivery with the Walsh Group as Program Manager on projects such as the Charlotte Light Rail in NC, the Indian River Bridge pursuit in Delaware, and the Blennerhassett Tied Arch Bridge over the Ohio River in Parkersburg, WV. His tenure with Allan Myers as Alternate Delivery Program Manager entailed pursuing and managing alternative delivery projects throughout the mid-Atlantic region. His time with Skanska as Design Build Manager/Project Executive, he managed the design phase of the US 331 U.S. 90 bridge over the Choctawhatchee Bay FL, and the structures design phase of the I-4 Ultimate Public Private Partnership project in Orlando FL encompassing 143 bridges.
His heavy civil career began as a project manager and estimator in the early 1980s with Holloway Construction Company based in Michigan, leading to a Division Manager position. That experience springboarded him to Kiewit as Area Manager/Project Sponsor for their Eastern District, based in Baltimore. David then joined CIANBRO Corporation as Regional Manager and was quickly promoted to Vice President/General Manager for their Southern New England Region. Mr. Nardon joined Edward Kraemer & Sons as Vice President to lead the newly established Mid-Atlantic Region based in Baltimore, where he spearheaded the Maryland Approach Spans and the Bascule Spans of the new Woodrow Wilson Bridge over the Potomac River in Washington DC for the Kraemer segment of a Joint Venture. He also oversaw the construction of the Tied Arch Bridge over the Genesee River in Rochester, NY; and the Pennsylvania Turnpike bridges over the Susquehanna River.
Throughout his career, he has worked on projects worth billions of dollars worldwide. David has authored several works, including "SPINNAKER", an historical fiction and romance novel, using the pseudonym of Sabato diVincenti; "Bridge and Structure Estimating (1996)," published by McGraw Hill; and edited and revised the "Bridge Inspection Handbook (1995)" also published by McGraw Hill. Mr. Nardon lectured at the Michigan Department of Transportation's Small Business Management and Estimating Seminar (1991); and the Virginia Department of Transportation and Engineering Conference, at Virginia Military Institute (1995). David served on an advisory committee for the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department for Virginia Tech. He also is a routine speaker/panelist for DBIA Conferences.
Mr. Nardon graduated from Altoona Area High School while studying at the Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center for cabinet and furniture making. Subsequently, he expanded his professional knowledge by earning Professional Certification with the Design-Build Institute of America - DBIA - (2019). Backed by years of construction experience. Mr. Nardon serves as the Florida Design-Build Institute of America DBIA Transportation Committee past chair (2021-2022) as well as on the Board and Executive Committee of the DBIA FL Region (2023-2027). Mr. Nardon also serves on the DBIA National Transportation Committee. He is a standing member of American Society of Civil Engineers (1994). In conjunction with his professional and educational endeavors, David contributes to his community as President, past Treasurer, and Board Member of the Estates of Ponte Vedra Homeowners Association.

David married his wife, Paula in 1977. Together they have a wonderful daughter, Nichole, son-in-law Kevin, and three lovely grandchildren, Madilyn, Reed, and Carolyn.
