Mr. Tracey was the Chief Operating Officer for SAC Technologies, an early-stage company that pioneered the rapid expansion of biometrics by releasing an algorithm that today is the basis for all biometric applications ranging from the biometric security on your cell phone to securing national elections and borders. SAC Technologies was successfully taken public on NASDAQ and was the precedent for many technology (.com) companies to follow. Mr. Tracey was the CEO of IZEX Technologies a nascent medical technology company that dramatically changed the recovery regimes for orthopedic injuries and pioneered the remote monitoring of orthopedic patients improving outcomes and ushered in many advances in telemedicine.
Mr. Tracey's second career leveraged his wealth of professional experience in estate planning, business planning, and cash balance-defined benefits retirement plans. Mr. Tracey retired from Morgan Stanley as First Vice President. His tenue as Vice President of Bernstein Private Wealth Management, where he specialized in private foundations and philanthropy, and cash balance plans, further solidified his expertise. Similarly, Mr. Tracey's focus on acquisition integration, new business initiatives, and leveraging technology to increase market reach as the managing director of Finch Partners, demonstrates his comprehensive understanding of the industry.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Tracey gained valuable expertise through executive positions with: De La Rue – LeFebure, Microrim, Honeywell and AT&T. Before establishing himself professionally, Mr. Tracey earned a Bachelor of Arts in history/political science from Columbia University in 1976. Given his outstanding achievements, Mr. Tracey received a fellowship for studies at the University of London and authored "Roosevelt and Churchill: The Unique Alliance" and was selected as a Rhodes Scholar finalist during his studies at Columbia University. His thirst for knowledge led him to complete an MBA in finance and marketing from Harvard Business School. However, it's not just his professional and educational endeavors that define him. Mr. Tracey has also made significant contributions to his community through leadership positions with the Boy Scouts of America, National Ski Patrol, Wayzata School District Finance Committee, Hired, Inc., and the Council of Growing Companies. Mr. Tracey was an adjunct professor of economics at St. Olaf College and Hamline University. His commitment to service is truly inspiring.
