Outside of his work, he contributes to film students at Long Beach City College. An expert in his field, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Subsequently, Mr. Burghard expanded upon his professional knowledge, earning a Master of Public Administration from Troy University.
Mr. Burghard was honored by Pi Alpha Alpha for his academic excellence while obtaining his MPA. For his combat service in Iraq, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart Medal by the Marine Corps. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in his work with NCIS and the subsequent ability to lend that expertise to the well-known television series. Another standout aspect of his career has been establishing Reel Action Advisors, as it gave him the opportunity to work with seasoned actors. The cornerstone of his success lay in his belief that failure is not an option. Within the coming years, Mr. Burghard intends to continue working on the NCIS Sydney project.
