Additionally, Ms. Paradiso taught pediatric nursing at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and enjoyed sharing her expertise with future generations of nurses.

Both her father, a World War II veteran with three Purple Hearts, and her mother have been a significant influence on her life. She draws inspiration from the resilient children for whom she has cared, especially those battling serious illnesses, and Ms. Paradiso's personal experience with cancer motivated her to co-author a book focused on providing positivity to kids facing chronic illnesses.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Paradiso has contributed to creative projects such as "Iggy's Second Chance," which was published in 2023. She is also involved in civic-minded organizations and serves as a teacher at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Beyond her role in health care work, Ms. Paradiso achieves balance by bicycling, walking and reading.
