In this role since 2021, Mrs. Crowley excels in serving clients in a specialized and industry-specific manner as a client relationship leader. She collaborates with other principals and client relationship leaders to provide guidance and support, engaging with a diverse range of for-profit and not-for-profit health care organizations. Additionally, she actively contributes to the firm's growth through networking and promoting CLA's services to both current and potential clients.
Shortly after Mrs. Crowley earned her master's degree, her tenure at CLA began in 2011 when she joined as an associate. Her dedication and expertise quickly propelled her to the position of senior associate in 2012, where she honed her skills in financial accounting, auditing, HUD audits, and health care consulting services. By 2016, she advanced to the role of manager, further solidifying her reputation for excellence in the accounting industry. Her exceptional performance led to her promotion to principal in 2021.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Crowley has achieved notable milestones. Mrs. Crowley's academic background laid a strong foundation for her success. She earned a Master of Professional Accountancy degree in accounting, with a minor in tax, from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, in 2011. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2010. Her education has been instrumental in shaping her expertise and accomplishments.
Certified as a public accountant since 2013, Mrs. Crowley attributes much of her success to her loving and supportive family, as well as the exceptional health care team she is part of. As a member of CLA's campus recruiting team, Mrs. Crowley plays a key role in assembling the talented teams that work with CLA's clients. The campus recruiting team is dedicated to on-campus recruitment with the goal of creating a strong pipeline in accounting and engaging young people, including high school students, in the profession. The close-knit health care team travels together, celebrates significant lifecycle events and milestones, and provides unwavering support for each other in personal and professional pursuits.
Beyond her professional achievements, Mrs. Crowley is actively involved in civic organizations, both within her community and the accounting profession. She serves as a board member for the nonprofit Massachusetts Senior Care Foundation and has been a member of the Young Professional Advisory Group at MassCPAs since 2012. Additionally, she has been a Firm Ambassador for MassCPAs since 2018, serving as a liaison between CLA and the society. Over the past 13 years, Mrs. Crowley has volunteered with various organizations, including the Mystic River Watershed Association, Cradles to Crayons, and the Greater Boston Food Bank, among others. These roles underscore her dedication to giving back to the community and supporting the next generation of accounting professionals.
A proud mother to two young daughters, Mrs. Crowley has future aspirations of taking on a more significant role within MassCPAs and eventually assume a leadership position as chair of one of their boards of directors. At CLA, she aims to promote greater nationwide involvement and explore opportunities within their national health care team for potential leadership roles. She anticipates significant growth in the coming years, particularly within CLA's health care practice and subindustries such as senior living and care, as well as physician and dental groups in the New England area.
