Ms. Szem-Stafford takes pride in having designed and led numerous workshops tailored to meet her clients' specific needs, especially in multi-faceted situations requiring inventive solutions.
Prior to founding Szem-Szem Consulting, Inc, Ms. Szem-Stafford had an extensive career with Hilton Hotels Corporation as the Senior Director of Learning and Talent Development for the Americas, leading an international team that supported the workforce needs of 50,000 team members. During her time at Hilton, Ms. Szem-Stafford served as a team leader in the integration of two distinct company cultures, uniting, Hilton Hotels Corporation and Hilton International in one strategic and comprehensive approach to learning and talent development.
Ms. Szem-Stafford's professional journey is underpinned by a solid educational foundation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and Audiology with a minor in Education from the University of Rhode Island and a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. Additionally, her commitment to ongoing learning and her love of neuroscience led her to complete a program in Brain-Based Coaching, through the NeuroLeadership Institute in 2021. She is deeply committed to lifelong learning and enjoys yoga, hiking, biking, art, and traveling. In 2024, Ms. Szem-Stafford and her family hiked and summited Mount Elbert together (the tallest peak in Colorado). With her commitment to family, when she was recently asked by her niece to perform the matrimonial service at her wedding, Ms. Szem-Stafford acknowledged what an honor that would be and has now begun studies to become a minister.
