During this period, he was instrumental in driving business growth and achieving significant milestones, including attaining President's Club and Chairman Circle status. From 2020 to 2022, he held the position of branch manager and senior vice president of veteran mortgage lending at Guaranteed Rate before being promoted to senior vice president and director of VA lending in 2022.
Before his tenure in the mortgage industry, Mr. Scott had an illustrious military career. He served as a senior team sergeant with the Defense Personnel Accounting Agency from 2013 to 2015. Prior to this role, he was a platoon sergeant in the U.S. Army from 2009 to 2012 and a squad leader from 2003 to 2009. His military service earned him two Bronze Star awards, one with the 3-4 CAV Regiment in 2011 and another with the 2nd National Police Division MNFI in Iraq in 2008.
Mr. Scott's educational background includes a diploma from Roseburg High School, obtained in 1991. He is also a certified mortgage loan originator with credentials from FI Hawaii and DBO California.
