Outside of her work at Summer Speaks, she has served as a learning facilitator at Amplity Health and a leadership solutions facilitator at the Center for Creative Leadership. Previously, she was a training facilitator at Duarte Inc. from 2021 to 2023 and held similar roles at H-E-B from 2021 to 2022. Her tenure at H-E-B also included a position in leadership development in 2021. From 2018 to 2021, she functioned as a talent coach at Central Market, following her role as a learning specialist at Opis Senior Services Group from 2016 to 2018.
During the earlier stages of her career, Ms. Jelinek availed herself as an adjunct facilitator at the Disney Institute from 2014 to 2016 and a guest experience manager and training liaison at Walt Disney World from 2011 to 2016. She initially began her professional journey as a guest service management intern at Walt Disney World from 2010 to 2011, an internal auditor at CITGO Petroleum from 2009 to 2010, and held various other roles, including cake decorator, student employee manager, sous chef and ski lift operator.
Mrs. Jelinek's academic background includes pursuing a PhD in employee engagement at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. She holds a Master of Business Administration in organizational leadership from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, earned in 2015. As a result of her class leadership, she was notably bestowed the Professional MBA Leadership Award by her peers.
Ms. Jelinek also holds a Bachelor of Science in business management from McNeese State University, completed in 2009. Eminently qualified in her field, she holds certifications as a True Colors International Facilitator and an eSpeaker Certified Virtual Presenter. Additionally, she holds membership with the National Speakers Association, where she has served as director of programming since 2020. She is also a member of the Academy of Management Association.
Ms. Jelinek's dedication extends beyond her professional life into civic engagements. She served on the board of directors for Ten Thousand Villages from 2015 to 2016 and was a blood drive liaison for OneBlood from 2011 to 2013.
