Mr. Talukdar's career began at OSisoft in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he started as a software engineer in 2007. Over the next few years, he advanced to become an engineering manager. During this period, he made key contributions to the leading time-series data historian in the world, the PI System, that is especially ubiquitous throughout the process industry. He also contributed significantly to developing the next-generation data platform at OSisoft, focusing on implementing revolutionary features that facilitated data science use cases for industrial AI. Mr. Talukdar's role as founding engineer for the team that developed this next-generation cloud-native data platform is one of his proudest accomplishments. Products that Mr. Talukdar played a key role in developing during his tenure at OSisoft, which has since been acquired by Aveva, are widely used across the world in critical industrial infrastructure.
In early 2020, Mr. Talukdar joined C3 Al as an engineering manager and later became a senior engineering manager and director of engineering. During his tenure, he established and led the data organization within the platform engineering department, expanded his org and worked on large-scale distributed systems, data infrastructure and enterprise AI. Mr. Talukdar's work resulted in the development of advanced capabilities in the leading enterprise AI platform in the world, leading to the creation of intellectual property and the filing of numerous U.S. patents. This was commercialized through wide adoption of large-scale Al applications built on top of the C3 AI enterprise AI platform, in various industry vertical throughout the world, as well as in mission critical sectors of national interest.
Mr. Talukdar is highly educated, receiving a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical engineering from Assam Engineering College, Gauhati University in 2004 and a Master of Science in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University in 2007. He also holds a five-year diploma in fine arts and crafts from Assam Fine Arts and Crafts Society since 2000. Mr. Talukdar's education laid a strong foundation for his career, particularly his graduate studies at North Carolina State University. During his graduate studies he co-authored a publication titled 'Accumulated Effect Parameter Tuning Method for Geometrical Path Tracking of Wheeled Mobile Robots,' presented at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers/American Society of Mechanical Engineers International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics in 2007.
Besides his professional contributions, Mr. Talukdar is a member of several industry-related organizations, including being an invited member of the American Society for AI, which is a private and prestigious Al organization, and the AI Accelerator Institute.
