Before serving as the head of capital markets at Cannan, Mr. Wang was the head of investor relations from 2021 to 2023, where he spearheaded the holistic management of the investor relations practice. He also garnered success as the vice president of capital markets at Zensun Holdings between 2017 and 2021. Concurrently, he was a board member and vice president of investments and investor relations at Zhejiang Zanyu Technology Co., Ltd. from 2018 to 2021. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wang was the vice president of fundraising and investor relations, head of legal and the company secretary at Zmodo Technology Corporation between 2013 and 2017.
Mr. Wang began his professional journey as a transactional lawyer at various international law firms from 2005 to 2013. He previously co-founded Guopi from 2002 to 2004 and worked as a student tutor and teacher at Peking University while pursuing his degrees.
Mr. Wang's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Laws in economics and law, with honors, and a Master of Jurisprudence in financial law from Peking University. Subsequently, he received a Master of Laws in corporate finance, with honors, from Columbia University, where he was recognized as a Fiske Stone Scholar. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Wang holds several professional credentials, including a China legal qualification from the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China and a China private equity fund manager qualification from the Asset Management Association of China. He was admitted to practice law by the New York Bar Association.
Apart from his extensive educational background, Mr. Wang is active in the New York State Bar Association. This membership reflects his ongoing commitment to his field.
