ELYRIA, OH, October 01, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jeffry J. Hopkins has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
For 20 years, Mr. Hopkins has served as the owner and president of his own company, Quality Compounding Manufacturing LLC. Previously, he owned several other businesses, including Big Three Private Labeling for five years and Jeffry Hopkins Holdings for four years. Since he was a young adult, Mr. Hopkins worked in the chemical industry and starting his career working with soaps and lubricants in a family-owned company.
Later, after graduating from high school, completing six months of coursework in business management and marketing, and working for several different companies, Mr. Hopkins decided to start his own business. Heeding advice from other individuals in the industry, he started small, focusing on one product, which he produced out of his three-car garage. After eight months, he moved to a 1,000-square-foot building and expanded his manufacturing; as his business grew, he moved to larger facilities and produced more until, four years ago, he purchased his own building, a 60,000-square-foot facility.
Over the years, Mr. Hopkins has expanded his product lines, grown and split up businesses, purchased a small fleet of trucks, and began to offer winter housing for other chemical companies. He has a rich history of starting and selling businesses, providing solutions and products for an array on industries, and carefully examines new opportunities to ensure they are profitable. In reflecting on all he has founded and created, the establishment of his most recent company, Quality Compound Manufacturing, is one of Mr. Hopkin's most noteworthy accomplishments.
Day to day, Mr. Hopkins oversees orders, updates production, and reviews shipping schedules. He enjoys providing advice, answering questions, and sharing information about the industry with others, and he enjoys the new excitements and developments that each day brings. Since its inception, the company's main supply has been that of wax, soap, and lubricants, including one that is used in the making of paper tubes and cores, construction tubes, and gift wraps.
Furthermore, Mr. Hopkin's company produces fully refined wax and possesses the knowledge to create scrap wax and bring it back to its full form. Several months ago, the company expanded its offerings when it acquired a new customer that deals with the medical industry; now, they create packaging for cardboard coolers with insulation and freezer packs, which allows hospitals and pharmacies to ship medications safely that require cold storage. Along with the growth of Quality Compound Manufacturing, Mr. Hopkins has invested time, money, and resources in a startup called SupplyNow.
Since investing several trucks to aid in the distribution of SupplyNow's product and help them expand their reach, the fleet of trucks has since grown to nearly 10 vehicles, thus enabling the company to expand their delivery reach further, which has led to an increase in Mr. Hopkin's investment. Along with being an entrepreneur and savvy investor, Mr. Hopkins is, above all, an inventor. Combined, granted and pending, he has nearly 30 patents.
For nearly 40 years, Mr. Hopkins has been inventing products ranging from systems to specific devices. To date, he holds patents addressing gas separation processes to fragrance enhancers to a controller for an unmanned vehicle, amongst others. Looking forward, he intends to scale back by selling all his possessions in an effort to enjoy the remainder of his life fully and live simply. Moreover, he has thought much about his legacy and how he can help the next generation of entrepreneurs. In his will, he has designated his two favorite cousins, Lara Carter and Kirsten Gatt, as the sole beneficiaries of his estate, instructing them to establish a foundation for budding entrepreneurs using half of his fortune.
