Launching his career in 2001, Mr. Henry began at United Parcel Service of America Inc., where he worked as a loader and unloader from 2001 to 2004. This foundational experience provided him with a deep understanding of logistics operations. He transitioned to Accent Food Services as a key account manager between 2005 and 2012. In this role, Mr. Henry honed his client management and business development skills.
As Mr. Henry continually progressed, he joined UTI Worldwide as a business development manager, managing diverse automotive, retail and aerospace clients from 2012 to 2016. His extensive portfolio of clients played a pivotal role in ensuring the continuation of his contract when DSV acquired UTI Worldwide in 2016. Recognizing an opportunity to cater to defense clients in international logistics, Mr. Henry proposed forming a dedicated team, which has since grown into a global team of over 100 experts.
Mr. Henry is grateful for his strategic partnership in deploying the F35 program through DSV, which supports the entire European network and caters to valuable clients in Asia. This program stands out due to its unique arrangement with Lockheed Martin, allowing seamless circulation of parts within the global F35 network.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Henry received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Ohio University in 2006. He also obtained several credentials that have contributed to his success, including a Six Sigma green belt certification and designation in radioactive training and dangerous goods straining through the International Air Transportation Association. Furthermore, Mr. Henry maintains a transportation worker ID credential.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Henry is actively involved in civic organizations. He has been a coach for a local little league organization and previously served in communications for the American National Red Cross from 2012 to 2013.
