He also made multiple cover appearances in magazines such as Prime Insights and Inner Review, and became the youngest scientist (at 26) to receive two honorary doctorates in humanities and technology (Hon. PhD, Hon. DTech). Born in a small town in South India - Madurai, India, Mr. Ramakrishnan received a Bachelor of Technology in mechanical engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), in 2016. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT University) is highly ranked both nationally and internationally. In the QS World University Rankings 2024, VIT is placed within the 801-1000 range globally and among the top 250 universities in Asia in the QS Asia University Rankings.
