PEYTON, CO, October 25, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- October 25, 2024, Elaine Antonio Bordeaux has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
A Filipina-American sculptor based in Colorado, Ms. Antonio Bordeaux put her artistic dreams on hold to pursue a career in law. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science from New Era University and a JD from Arellano University, she came to the United States in 2005, receiving a Master of Laws in U.S. laws from Loyola University New Orleans three years later. Upon being admitted to practice law, Ms. Antonio Bordeaux spent time in Mississippi, where she recognized a shortage of immigration lawyers, specifically in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. She joined forces with a Catholic Charities refugee and migration center, where she specialized in immigration law before establishing her practice, E. Antonio Bordeaux, PLLC.
As an immigration attorney, Ms. Antonio Bordeaux sets a positive example for her team by exhibiting ethical conduct, professionalism, and dedication in all that she does. In addition to managing the firm's financial health, she oversees client relations, particularly during complex or high-profile cases. Alongside her work as an attorney, she is the chief executive officer of the Dr. Jose Rizal Legacy International Foundation, which focuses on education, cultural preservation, humanitarian initiatives, and social justice advocacy, the four pillars espoused by Dr. Jose Rizal, a Filipino hero. Throughout her legal career, Ms. Antonio Bordeaux never lost her love or passion for the arts. In 2016, she started sculpting again. Currently, she is creating inspirational and emotional pieces in bronze that capture iconic, courageous people throughout history. However, most of her work draws on her life as an immigrant. Her highly acclaimed solo exhibition entitled "Courage" showcasing her collection of bronze sculptures has been shown in Barcelona, Madrid, Colorado, San Francisco and Cheyenne, WY. Her exhibit will travel to five countries in Europe beginning in Czech Republic this October 2024.
Driven by her commitment to staying informed about industry changes, Ms. Antonio Bordeaux aligns herself with the New York Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Asian Chamber of Commerce in Denver. Beyond her professional endeavors and affiliations, she also dedicates her time to her community as a volunteer with the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network.
Due to her vast knowledge and experience, Ms. Antonio Bordeaux presented at the 48-Hour Summit of Redline Contemporary Art Center regarding the T'boli Women of Lake Sebu. Similarly, the Dale City Mayor recognized her work in women's empowerment and gender equality. In light of her achievements, she was named the Most Influential Filipina Woman in the World in 2023.
She was honored in the 2024 Global Women Who Rule in the Philippines the following year. While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Antonio Bordeaux takes the most pride in her work on human trafficking cases in Mississippi and representing defrauded Filipino workers, underscoring her commitment to social justice.
While hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, Ms. Antonio Bordeaux credits her success to Poly Cortez's support, who assisted her with her art initiatives. In the next five years, she aims to pursue art full-time and establish a renowned presence for female sculptors internationally. Additionally, Ms. Antonio Bordeaux looks forward to establishing a nonprofit organization to aid immigrant women and children in their journey toward citizenship in the United States, a testament to her ongoing commitment to social justice.
