Prior to moving to the U.S., Mr. Ismail served as an assistant business manager in cybersecurity and trust services at Asseco Software Nigeria in Lagos from 2018 to 2021. Earlier in his career, he was a digital strategist at VisaCover in Lagos in 2017, where he researched and deployed web solutions.
Mr. Ismail's academic credentials are robust. He earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Ilorin in Nigeria in 2017 and a master's degree in business analytics from the University of New Hampshire in 2022. This advanced degree equipped him with the skills to help organizations excel in data-driven decision-making. In addition to his formal education, Mr. Ismail has acquired numerous certifications, including several focused-on data strategy and analytics.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Ismail is deeply committed to civic engagement and mentorship. Since 2023, he has served as a board member at Household Goods Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides donated furniture and household items to families in need. In this role, he leads volunteer analytics in collaboration with the committee. He is also an active member of the McKinsey Boston Soccer Team and volunteers to teach kids soccer.
Mr. Ismail's contributions also include academic publications, such as the 2015 release of Cloud Computing and Its Effects on Business Processes, published in Communication and Information Science Students Magazine. This work reflects his early interest in how emerging technologies can transform business operations.
Looking ahead, Mr. Ismail aims to become a chief data officer at a Fortune 500 company. He also plans to dedicate more time to volunteering for initiatives that support young people in building their careers and navigating the corporate environment.
