LOS ANGELES, CA, May 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- June N. Averiette, Teacher at St. Paul Catholic School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of education.
With 27 years of experience in the education field, June N. Averiette specializes in teaching reading and composition writing. In her role at St. Paul Catholic School, she is responsible for teaching all subjects including physical education and working with updated methodologies of the Houghton Mifflin Approach in reading. Previously, Ms. Averiette taught pre-school for two years and worked in child development. She also serves on the WASC team and as a stomp team supervisor for sixth- through eighth-grade girls. She also holds a permit to run an early childhood center. She attributes her success to her mother, who was a school teacher.
Ms. Averiette received her Master of Education from National University in 2007 and her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services from California State University, Dominguez Hills, from which she also received her certification in teaching grades kindergarten through eight. A member of the National Catholic Educational Association, she has been honored with the Professional Award from St. Paul Catholic School and the Teacher Appreciation Award. She hopes to become an adult educator at the college level.
