COLUMBUS, OH, June 05, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Logicalis marketing team, along with Sudden Impact, of Columbus, Ohio, received two Achievement in Marketing Awards from the Columbus Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
Logicalis' integrated, interactive direct marketing campaign, Johnny Logic, won for the Best Business to Business Marketing Campaign. The campaign discusses an 80/20 villain, which can only be eradicated with virtualization. Today many organizations are using virtualization to lower total cost of ownership, improve user and administrator productivity, increase utilization of all IT assets, and move from IT maintenance to IT innovation.
The Logicalis E-mail Monster campaign won for the Best Integrated Marketing Campaign. The campaign features an interactive game that allows users to learn how to spot, trap and remove disruptive and destructive creatures from their IT environments with the latest e-mail management solutions. The campaign demonstrates how collaboration, proactive e-mail management and archiving, unified client communications and integrated contact centers set the stage for cost-reducing, personalized solutions.
"We are even more honored by this award because 2009 was the most competitive year ever for the AMA Awards, with a 75% increase in entries over last year," Lisa Dreher, VP Marketing & Business Development, Logicalis, said. "The team over at Sudden Impact along with the Logicalis marketing team have pulled together creative and fun ways to talk about serious and challenging technical topics while still sharing useful information. We are lucky to have such a strong and dedicated team."
"The Johnny Logic and E-mail Monster campaigns have averaged over 12% response rates and have already delivered well over $1 million in revenue with another $19 million of pipeline opportunity," continued Dreher. "It is not only important that the programs are getting noticed by our peers, it is critical that we are delivering opportunities to our sales team. Ultimately everything that we do is aimed at helping open doors for our sales team. This has become increasingly challenging in the current economy, so results like these really make a difference."
Logicalis competed against retail outfits, sports franchises and some of the Midwest's largest advertising agencies. Major competitors included the Columbus Zoo, which is one of the largest zoos in the country, and the Dairy Council (Got Milk?).
Logicalis is also pleased to announce it is a finalist in the upcoming nationally-recognized American Business Awards. The Stevie Award winners will be announced in New York City, June 22, 2009. Logicalis has been recognized as a finalist in the Advertising Category for the Best Business Services Ads & Campaigns for the E-mail Monster campaign.
