HOUSTON, TX, July 02, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Since GreenEfficient opened, they have based their business on helping LEED facilities in Austin, Houston, Atlanta, Portland, Seattle, Las Vegas, Boston, Sacramento, San Francisco and Dallas stay compliant, as well as helping these businesses streamline their operations. "After spending the time and resources necessary to gain LEED rating," explains Mr. Walker, "many business owners don't realize what it takes to keep their rating. Most of that comes with proper building operations and maintenance, performed in a sustainable, environmentally-safe frame of mind."
Now, GreenEfficient is spreading their wings and passing along the message to other areas of the United States. Today, they announced the grand opening of their newly redesigned website, GreenEfficient.
"Up until now we've stayed local," says Mr. Walker, "but we hope that our LEED consulting and compliance services can help other business owners around the U.S. to keep the LEED certification they've worked so hard for. We truly believe in what we're doing; our ultimate goal is to see the number of LEED certified buildings double, or even triple in the next few years."
With that goal in mind, the new website caters to green building owners in: Portland, Oregon; Washington, DC; Atlanta, Georgia; Seattle, Washington; Denver, Colorado; San Francisco and Sacramento, California; Boston, Massachusetts; Las Vegas, Nevada; and New York City, New York.
Although the CEO says they plan on expanding further in the future, he also says that the company and their partners know it's a "one step at a time" endeavor. "People, from general consumers to business owners and everywhere in between, still aren't sure what to believe. Is "going green" hogwash? Is it a 'political' thing? Does it really do any good? Their integrated services portfolio consists of LEED-AP managed janitorial, building maintenance, HVAC services, lawn care, integrated pest management, occupant training and green purchasing consulting.
"I've talked to people who thought LEED was nothing more than a sales gimmick, and others who thought the numbers on U.S. waste reduction were fabrications. For every positive about cutting pollution, there are ten negatives. We're teaching business managers the plain and simple truth; LEED certification, LEED-AP managed building maintenance, cutting pollution and using verifiable green cleaning operations methods are cost effective, efficient and productive - and we're doing it one step at a time."
