Minneapolis Orthodontics Expert Opens New Practice in Lakeville

    ST. PAUL AND MINNEAPOLIS, MN, July 03, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Minneapolis, MN Orthodontist Dr. Jennifer Eisenhuth opened Cosmopolitan Orthodontics in Lakeville on June 4.

Patients and parents in the surrounding area are excited about the location, said Dr. Trudy Bonvino, the orthodontist who works at the practice.

Jay Substad is one of those excited parents. He has two children currently in orthodontic treatment with Eisenhuth and they will begin using the Lakeville office now that it has opened.

"We were excited (about the new practice opening) from a standpoint that we are 25 minutes from the other office," Substad said. "This new office will have the same caliber of care and quality of product, so we're pretty excited to see something like this in the neighborhood."

Eisenhuth expanded her Minneapolis orthodontics practice into Lakeville in response to patients' requests to open an office there, she said.

Substad toured the new office recently and called it "spectacular."

"They went all out on the space," he said. "It just has a great feel to it when you come in and it's as impressive as the Eagan office, if not more."

Eisenhuth said she is excited about opening the state-of-the-art facility, adding, "We are so happy that Dr. Bonvino has agreed to work at the practice."

It was important to Eisenhuth that she find the right orthodontist to work at the new location.

"Dr. Bonvino has been an orthodontist since 1994 and she has been setting high standards in the field all along," Eisenhuth said. "Her expertise and demeanor are a good fit for this new office. I know that patients are going to love her."

Eisenhuth learned that there was a demand for quality orthodontic care in Lakeville because there are a number of patients who drive to her Eagan location for treatment and have asked for years about whether she planned to open a Lakeville location, she said.

"This is an effort to offer an experience like what Dr. Eisenhuth has at her Eagan office in a location that is more convenient for patients in this area," Bonvino said. "I'm happy to be a part of this new office."

For more than 14 years, Eisenhuth has made quality orthodontics her top priority, followed by creating positive patient experiences when they are at her office. That philosophy will be in place at Cosmopolitan Orthodontics as well, Bonvino said.

"We believe that when you create a positive patient experience, the patient becomes more engaged," Bonvino said. "We can provide an incredible result for a patient the more engaged they are because compliance tends to be higher."

When patients are more willing to maintain good oral hygiene, avoid eating the things they shouldn't eat and wear their appliances properly, the best results are created, she said.

A native of the Twin Cities, Trudy Bonvino was drawn to a career in orthodontics because it combined her two greatest interests: art and science.
