Switchfoot Comes to Q104.3 to Promote RevGen, NJ's Premier Concert

    NEW YORK, NY, August 29, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jon Foreman and Chad Butler of Switchfoot stopped by Q104.3 to chat with Jonathan Clarke about their show next Saturday night at Revelation Generation (RevGen), NJ's much anticipated mega concert (http://www.revgen.org).

"We're excited about headlining at RevGen next weekend. It will give us a chance to play some of the songs from our new album," says Jon Foreman, lead singer of Switchfoot. Their 7th album, Hello Hurricane, debuts in November.

"We've talked to other bands that will be at RevGen and we're really looking forward to it, especially since it's our first time playing there," says Chad Butler, drummer.

The Out of the Box Show hosted by Clarke will air this Sunday, August 30, from 9:00 to 10:00 pm on Q104.3, streaming on www.Q1043.com.

Switchfoot takes the lead on the New York Stage next Saturday night at RevGen. More than 50 bands will play on five stages beginning Friday September 4 through Saturday, September 5. Each stage has its own style and the biggest recording artists that made the genre great.

In its fifth year, Revelation Generation is the premier annual concert in NJ. Drawing fans from the greater New York/Philadelphia area, RevGen brings a world-class entertainment experience to Central New Jersey. The unique non-profit event takes place in Frenchtown, NJ at Revelation Farms, a sprawling 140-plus acre property owned by festival founders, Robert and Kim Grom.
