Lenoir NC Dentist Paresh B Patel earns Mastership Award in Mini Dental Implants Orlando, Fl.

Dr. Paresh B Patel was awarded Mastership in Mini Dental Implants at the Annual International Academy of Mini Dental Implants. "The award is recognition of Dr. Patel's achievements in placing mini implants for removable Dentures and Fixed Crowns and Bridges" says Dr. Todd Shatkin. Dr. Patel will be joining Dr Shatkin, President of the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants, in educating dentists from around the country in the placement and restoration of mini dental implants.

Particular focus will be on Shatkin's techinques, F.I.R.S.T (Fabricated Implant Restoration and Surgical Technique). The laboratory fabricated surgical stents allow the beginning practitioner guidance in mini implant placement and proper implant positioning. The use of the surgical stent also allows single visit placement of mini implants and single or multiple fixed crowns in appropriate cases.

Dr. Patel attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his DDS Degree in May of 1996. He is currenlty enrolled in the Implant Maxi-Course at the Medical College of Georgia and should attain the status of Associate Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry this December.
