About Association Paidos
Founded in 1996, Paidos allows children and teenagers in distress to be integrated back in society. There are three areas of activities: i) Welcoming of teenagers to reintegrate them into society, the school system or the job market, and the welcoming of migrants and international children in order to integrate them into Geneva society through creative activities ii) Creating awareness amongst groups of adolescents about issues that concern them through interactive exhibitions and iii) Observation; investigating a population of teenagers about issues that concern them in order to propose means of prevention and action. Paidos now takes care of more than 40 teenagers annually in the Psycho-educational Centre for Teenagers (CPPA) and more than 850 migrants and local Geneva children via the workshop "Bricolos." Money raised by the 2009 appeal will go towards the Bricolos workshops and various educational tours organized locally for the children at Paidos.
