BROOKLYN, NY, November 12, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Learning Experience of Brooklyn (TLE) is pleased to announce its grand opening at 412 Kings Highway, the first TLE location in the Five Boroughs. Grand opening events include a Free Family Fun Day, a Holiday Food Drive to benefit The Food Bank for NYC, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony next month with Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz expected to attend.
After looking at many daycare centers for his own small children, co-owner Rob Bender walked into a TLE center and was immediately impressed with the vibrant atmosphere, range of programs, and friendly staff. "Like every parent, I want high quality care for my children," says Bender. "TLE is fundamentally different from other offerings. It is state-of-the-art child development -- not simply day care." He was so impressed that he opened his own location, TLE of Brooklyn.
The center has received a warm welcome from the community. "Leaving a child while at work is difficult for a parent, but I have peace of mind every day because the staff at TLE is so giving, caring and compassionate," says Susan Kovach, an educator with two children currently enrolled. "Each day my children come home with new art projects, stories, songs and dances. I am so thankful I found The Learning Experience."
TLE of Brooklyn offers an impressive mix of quality and value. Children learn at their own pace in a safe, nurturing environment. The curriculum features computers, math, music, drama, dance, songs, arts & crafts, science, and the award-winning early reading program "Fun With Phonics." Specialized enrichment programs (Start to Art , Marvelous Math , Talent Sprouts , Dancing Feet , Suddenly Science , Music 4 Me , and Movin' N Grovin' ) are included in the tuition. Children play on "Make Believe Boulevard," a miniature Main Street, USA. Bubbles the Elephant is the lovable blue TLE mascot.
TLE of Brooklyn is now open and enrolling. It is conveniently located at 412 Kings Highway (at West 2nd St.) in a spacious new building. Hours are year round from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information, please call 718.627.7340 or visit www.thelearningexperience.com/at/Brooklyn.
