SCOTTSDALE, AZ, November 15, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Despite the academic school year being nearly half over AmeriSchools Academy, a tuition-free charter school, is still encouraging parents to register their students with them. Offering students with personalized programs that recognize individual qualities and potential, parents, students and educators are empowered to expand educational options and ease personal limitations.
"I truly believe that, while there are many factors that determine where children begin, our schools determine where our children end up," says Gary LeBlanc, Superintendent. "Our committed effort remains our priority to achieve high standards of academic excellence for the children and families we serve. As a learning community we will continue providing our students a safe, enjoyable and dynamic environment for learning."
AmeriSchools is a tuition-free charter system of schools including Phoenix charter schools, Tucson charter schools, and Yuma charter schools that offer safe and exciting learning communities for children in grades K-12. Their mission is to assist children to achieve academic excellence through individualized instruction of core curriculum supported by enrichment and acceleration techniques.
It remains AmeriSchools' priority to achieve high standards of academic excellence for the children and family they serve. Therefore their committed effort remains on core values of non-graded, personalized instruction, skill based instruction/assessment, integrated curriculum providing enrichment/acceleration and utilizing a Community as Laboratory practice, and providing a highly qualified staff.
"We learn in school that every snowflake is unique," Dr. Reginald Barr, Chief Executive Officer says. "Each is individual and has it's own beauty; it's own design and symmetry. No two are exactly alike. Our children are no different. Their uniqueness requires constant attention, both at home and through the task of education. To this end, the AmeriSchools academy, realizing and celebrating the uniqueness of our students, is dedicated to providing the best choices for each individual child's future."
Since the Fall of 1996, AmeriSchools Academy has opened four campuses in Tucson, Phoenix, and Yuma. Tucson's campuses include a College Preparatory for grades 9-12, which has earned an Arizona Department of Education AZ LEARNS ranking of Excelling since 2004 and was named the 2008 Arizona charter school of the year, and a sister campus for grades K-8. Phoenix's campus serves grades K-8 while Yuma's campus caters to grades K-6.
