Sydney Wildlife World Announces New Exhibit

A brand new, interactive exhibit called The Last Living Dinosaur is due to open at Sydney Wildlife World in December.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, December 01, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sydney Wildlife World has announced that it will open a new exhibition dedicated to the giant salt water crocodile on December 22nd.

Entitled The Last Living Dinosaur, the interactive exhibit will give people staying in Sydney hotels an opportunity to learn about the remarkable animals.

Salt water crocodiles are the largest living reptiles on the planet and one of the world's deadliest predators.

This new exhibit will recreate the Kakadu National Park Gorge to house the fearsome crocodiles and provide a setting for visitors' journey through time.

Anyone who opts to experience this latest offering at the wildlife park will come face-to-face with dinosaurs and have the chance to interact with educational displays.

One of the largest captive salt water crocodiles will be the star attraction - weighing in at 700 kg and approximately five metres long, it will be easy to see why these phenomenal predators have survived for more than 70 million years.

Michael McKeon, general manager of sales and marketing at the Sydney Attractions Group, described it as "fun, entertaining, frightening and educational. It is a must-see event".

Entry to the Sydney Wildlife World starts from AU$31.95 (GBP17.53) for an adult ticket, which will offer access to all the exhibitions at the park.

In addition to its crocodile extravaganza, tourists can also visit the koala sanctuary or discover the surreal world of insects and invertebrates.
