PARIS, FRANCE, December 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- It may not be located by the sea, but this does not mean that people booking accommodation in Paris cannot enjoy a nautical adventure during their time in the city.
At the beginning of next year, the French capital will play host to the Paris International Diving Show.
The 2010 event will be the 12th time this exhibition has taken place and it will be held from Friday January 15th until Monday January 18th.
It is considered to be a must-see for diving enthusiasts as well as amateurs or those who have never embarked upon an underwater adventure and simply want to go along and see what all the fuss is about.
As well as showcasing all manner of diving equipment and marine instruments, the event will also focus on the impact of sustainable development on the underwater environment, Ocean Treasures reports.
It will be held at the Porte de Versailles and tickets cost EUR9 (GBP7.10), while children under the age of eight get in free.
The exhibition is open between 10am and 7pm, apart from January 15th, when it is open until 9pm and January 18th when people can visit until 6pm.
Porte de Versailles is located near the metro station of the same name, which means that those hoping to visit the diving event may be able to find the venue quickly and easily.
Jessica Reading, head of marketing for LateRooms, commented: "Demand for the Paris International Diving Show is always significant and we recommend that anyone considering attending should book their hotels Paris as early as possible."
