MADRID, December 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fashionistas staying in accommodation in Madrid may be keen to hit the shops and explore some of the boutiques and markets during their time in the city.
If this is the case, then there is one event that may be especially enticing if they are in Spain at the beginning of next year.
Madrid International Fashion Week will take place between February 4th and 6th 2010 at the IFEMA centre and will give people the chance to look at creations from some of the most important designers in the country.
There will also be international exhibitors at the show, as What's on When reports that "the quality and the competitive price of Spanish goods" is encouraging overseas companies to participate in the event.
According to the tourism website, the Madrid International Fashion Week covers all areas of the industry, "from vanguard designers and party clothes to city and rural wear, everyday wear, sportswear, underwear, fashion for large women and teen fashion".
Tickets for the twice-yearly event cost EUR30 (GBP26.67), however they can be obtained for a discounted price if booked in advance.
Those who are keen to do a spot of shopping while they are in Madrid could also check out some of the city's many markets, such as the Mercado Puerta de Toledo,
Commenting on Madrid International Fashion Week, Jessica Reading, head of marketing for LateRooms, said: "We strongly urge people thinking of going to Madrid International Fashion Week and who need hoteles en Madrid to book early to avoid disappointment"
