SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, February 12, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- People staying in accommodation in Sydney at the start of March may be interested to learn that the Prodigy are playing a gig in the city.
The dance group will be pumping out pounding bass-lines to get the crowd jumping at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion on March 3rd.
As well as a host of tunes from their latest album Invaders Must Die, dance floor fillers such as Firestarter and Spitfire are likely to make be included in the set.
The Prodigy have been producing music for almost two decades now and are firm favourites in the dance community as well as among festival-goers the world over.
Supporting them at this show will be another British band, Does It Offend You Yeah?, who were described by the Rolling Stones as "an obnoxious, dizzying, perfectly-of-the-moment blend of Daft Punk, Justice and Rage Against the Machine", according to the venue's website.
Doors for the show open at 19:00 (local time) and general admission to the performance costs AU$101.90 (GBP56.63).
The group are taking a break from their tour as part of the Future Music Festival, which visits cities around Australia each year.
Also on the bill at the event are the likes of Franz Ferdinand, David Guetta and Empire of the Sun.
