Red Osier Beef Goes National—Partnership with Tyson Foods and Delaware North is First of its Kind

    /24-7PressRelease/ - ROCHESTER, NY, May 07, 2006 - Red Osier today announced partnerships with national food products leader Tyson Foods and concessions giant Delaware North Sportservice to market and distribute Red Osier beef products nationwide. The partnership will expand Red Osier's presence in the U.S. market from its stronghold in Western New York to over 20 cities and sports venues across the country.

Announcing the deal at the opening of Red Osier's new food kiosk at the Greater Rochester International Airport, Rob Moore, President of Red Osier Food Products, said "With these partnerships to distribute Red Osier beef, the whole country will now learn what Western New York has known all along - that Red Osier beef is the best you can buy."

Moore said the deal with Tyson Foods and Delaware North Sportservice developed after the companies recognized the strength of the Red Osier brand and quality of beef products. The deal with Tyson Foods allows the food products giant to use the Red Osier brand in marketing roast beef products and has the potential to triple the volume of roast beef Red Osier sells each year. Under the partnership with Delaware North Sportservice, all roast beef concessions in venues serviced by the company will carry Red Osier products exclusively.

"Now travelers can pick up a Red Osier sandwich at the airport for their flight-then get off the airplane and find a Red Osier sandwich at a venue in their destination city," said Moore.
