LAS VEGAS, NV, March 03, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Indie record label, ProGenitor Entertainment will officially release It's Alright, the debut CD from New York City-based singer-songwriter, Faryn Sand, on Wednesday, April 21st of this year.
Evoking the smooth, folk-rock sounds of Aimee Mann, with a Jewel-like flare for the poetic, the Extended Play's three songs speak to Sand's observations on life, love, personal struggles and perseverance, and serve as a teaser for her upcoming full-length album, Saints Be Brave, which will be released on the ProGenitor label in late 2010. "False Eye," the lead track on It's Alright, will go to radio on Wednesday, March 31st.
Label founder and president, Jeremy Sand says, "We're excited to be able to bring a fresh and emotive voice to the music scene. We think that a lot of people will be able to relate to the life perspective conveyed in Faryn's songs."
Sand plans on potentially performing a select number of intimate shows in the New York City area to coincide with the CD's release. For more information on these performances, visit farynsand.com. Tracks are available for download prior to the official release via farynsand.com and at online retailers iTunes and CDBaby.com.
