UBUD, INDONESIA, March 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- People staying in Ubud hotels who are looking for some entertainment in the evening may be pleased to learn that electro-acoustic band LYNX and Janover will be playing a gig in the city next month.
The duo from North America will be appearing as part of the Balispirit festival on four successive nights, from April 1st until the 4th.
Anyone who wants to see them get up on stage and perform their unique brand of music should be aware that the show starts from 20:00 (local time) at the Agung Rai Museum of Art.
The website for the festival described the pair's music as "the elusive perfect balance between the acoustic and the electronic".
LYNX and Janover have spent the earlier part of 2010 touring around the US, playing gigs in cities such as San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle.
The two artists recently released their first ever recording together, Between Worlds, which is available for download from their website.
According to the website for the Balispirit festival, LYNX is a singer-songwriter and beat-boxer from Colorado, while Janover is a hammer dulcimer player.
This stringed instrument is more usually associated with the genre of folk music, but Jamie Janover uses it to produce electronica sounds.
If you are looking for something different during your holiday in Bali, this could be a great way to experience a new type of music in warm and welcoming surroundings.
