PARIS, FRANCE, March 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anyone with an interest in multimedia should head down to the Nemo Festival in Paris this spring, where there will be debates and exhibits taking place regarding the future of moving pictures, as well as a series of films to enjoy.
Running until April 17th, it is the 12th edition of the annual festival and will cover topics as diverse as animated graphic design, music videos, interactive installations and audiovisual performances, all of which means a fascinating experience for people staying in Paris hotels.
The organisers have highlighted the release of Avatar as an important touch-point and suggested that the topic could feature in many debates during the event.
What's on When explained: "Established authors and filmmakers, musicians and writers are invited to take part in film workshops and debates. Themes range from French arthouse cinema to new media, silent movies, cinema-concerts and foreign films."
Screenings of new videos made by budding filmmakers will be held at a variety of venues such as the Bijou Cinema, The Cube and the Centquatre, with a full itinerary available on the festival's website.
The film that has been described as the "jewel" of the event is My Secret Heart, which was produced by Streetwise Opera and acted out by a hundred homeless people in the UK.
Tickets for showings can be purchased at the box office of each of the facilities.
If you're heading to the Nemo Festival this year, we strongly advise that you book your hotels Paris as soon as possible, given the huge popularity of the event.
