Taking place on Friday April 23rd, the event will be held at the Grand Rex in the French capital, so it is not far from most hotels in Paris and promises to be a delightful occasion for everyone young and old.
This year's edition of the annual festival takes the theme When Science Meets Fiction and will be holding a 30th anniversary viewing of The Empire Strikes Back in evening at the end of the day's performances, with none other than Luke Skywalker himself (Mark Hamill) in attendance.
Before that though, there will be a film aimed at children at 10:00 (local time) and then the Jules Verne Festival's official selection of films and documentaries from 13:30 until 18:00.
A day pass for these flicks is EUR10 (GBP9), but people will need to purchase another ticket to see the night-time showing of Empire Strikes Back which can be bought online starting from EUR25.
There will also be a special aftershow party for those that buy a gold pass and for other selected guests.
