Derek Fertig Named Branch President of Gold Star Mortgage Financial's Ft. Lauderdale Office

    FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, April 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Derek Fertig has been appointed Branch President/Manager of Gold Star Financial Mortgage Group's new Ft. Lauderdale office. The branch provides customers with a full range of mortgage services, including conventional, FHA and government loan programs.

Fertig was previously vice president and a top loan officer with Americas Mortgage Professionals and a top producer for Ace Mortgage, both in Ft. Lauderdale. The former Marine Sergeant (where he was honored as "Marine of the Quarter" for five straight quarters on his Quantico, Va. Marine Base) earlier served in the U.S. Pentagon's Office of the Secretary of Defense.
