Meet The Designer: Born and raised in Southern California, Krystal Savanella chose to pursue her lifelong love of design by attending The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA. Initially entering the fashion world as a freelance costume designer, Krystal quickly became known for her artistic style and expression of modern femininity. Her distinctive style combining East Coast chic with West Coast ease coupled with an infectious passion for her craft, garnered attention from multiple design houses, resulting in contract design work for both public and private design houses across Southern California. After designing varied collections of lingerie, accessories, couture gowns, as well as missy and junior apparel lines, Krystal decided to harness her inspirations and unleash her talents by designing exclusively for her own label. In 2005, Krystal Savanella created Krystal Savanella House of Couture, initially structured as a private couture label strictly designing couture gowns. After incorporating in 2007, Krystal expanded her offering and began designing and refining what is now the Fall 2010 collection from the Krystal Savanella House of Couture, under the luxury missy label, Krystal Savanella.
