BALI, INDONESIA, April 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- People staying in accommodation in Bali who want to get a taste for the local musical culture in Indonesia may want to consider travelling to Bekasi in May to see a gig by one of the country's home-grown bands.
Obake will be taking to the stage at Liverpool's Cafe on May 23rd, promising the audience a combination of their own music as well as covers of a Japanese band.
According to their official website, the members of Obake are "extraordinary" and they all strive to entertain people with their music.
The five members have been performing together since 2005, using conventional instruments such as guitar, bass, keyboard and drums to create their sound.
Doors to the concert open at 10:00 (local time), with the group scheduled to put in another performance one week later in Jakarta.
Japanese rockers L'Arc-en-Ciel are one of their biggest influences, with the Indonesian group covering some of their tracks.
L'Arc-en-Ciel have been performing together since 1991 and have released singles such as The Ghost In My Room, Neo Universe and most recently, Drink It Down.
Tickets are available from the venue so anyone who wants to experience this eclectic mix of music is advised to contact Liverpool's Cafe ahead of the show.
