Architecture/Planning Firm KTGY Group Adds Jack Price, AIA, LEED AP as Principal; Price Is Based in Santa Monica and Focused on KTGY Commissions for Large, Complex Buildings and Developments

    IRVINE, CA, May 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Architect Jack Price, AIA, LEED AP, has joined KTGY Group as the architecture/planning firm's newest principal. Price comes to KTGY from HKS, Inc. of Dallas, where his experience and project leadership successfully guided a broad range of development projects to completion. Among them: corporate headquarters; office buildings; high-rise residential; mixed-use projects; commercial interiors; and other complex structures in urban and suburban environments.

Price has been responsible for some of the largest building and construction projects in California. Completed developments are located throughout the Los Angeles area and in Long Beach, Irvine, San Diego, Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose.

Price is based in KTGY's Santa Monica office, which the firm established in 2005 to address its expanding focus on urban development, creating design/planning teams for retail, residential, mixed-use, and commercial commissions. One of the most recent that Price and his team are implementing is The Village in Santa Monica, for The Related Companies.

Organized in three sites near the famed 3rd Street Promenade, the mixed-use, high-density development will provide about 220 dwelling units and 10,000 s.f. of retail space. Design architects are Koenig Eizenberg and Moore Rubell Yudell.

Price is certified with the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB) and is a licensed architect in California and Colorado. He is a registered architect in Texas and Washington; a registered interior designer in Texas; and a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional. Price earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A & M University.
