LA VISTA, NE, May 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Securities America has added Glen McRary as regional director of branch office development for the southwest region.
McRary will execute recruiting strategies and communicate Securities America's philosophy with independent financial professionals seeking to align themselves with a Business Growth Expert.
McRary has 17 years of industry experience, most recently as vice president of business development for NEXT Financial Group in Virginia Beach, Va. from 2005 to 2009, he was the top producing recruiter at NEXT, which he co-founded in 1998. Before turning his focus to recruiting in 2000, McRary fulfilled the corporate management functions of vice president, chief operating officer, chief financial officer and chief compliance officer during the firm's development and infrastructure build out.

A graduate of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va., McRary earned a bachelor's in business administration with a concentration in finance. He held positions at Dominion Capital Advisors and Investors Security Company prior to co-founding NEXT. He holds the following securities licenses: Series 7, 63, 24, 4 and 27.
