Most television viewers can relate to the difficulty in attaining the Valedictorian award. It is an accolade that these seniors have striven for continually for most of their academic life. The television spots will air the month of June on WPTV Channel 5, the Palm Beach NBC affiliate.
A former top senior highlighted on television was Apura Bhansali of Spanish River High School in Boca Raton. It is bright students like Apura that PC Professor is attempting to acknowledge.
Apura said, "College is an important step in anyone's life. From college, I hope to receive an education which will prepare me to enter my career of Computer Engineering. I will always try to do my best and set high goals, but whatever I do, I will always enjoy doing it because that is what life is about - enjoying what you do."
PC Professor is supportive of Apura and others interested in computers to obtain a degree. Then, when they are looking for more hands-on, real world experience, Robert Fellman, Director of PC Professor, hopes they come back to the school or attend during the summers.
Robert Fellman, is particularly proud of the partnership with NBC and the community. He touts, "We enjoy our relationship with this program. These seniors have similar character and attributes as our school; we both appreciate education and strive for the best."
